Animal fat is an energy source derived from cattle that is used to help promote your pet’s healthy energy. To maintain freshness, Purina preserves the animal fat with mixed tocopherols, a natural form of vitamin E. It also adds a delicious taste to your pet’s food.

Is the animal fat in this product preserved with BHA or BHT? Is BHA or BHT in this product or are they in any of the other Friskies Naturals products in any form?

Animal fat is a fat source that is derived from beef, pork and/or poultry. It provides both energy and essential fatty acids. All preservatives used in our products that are produced and /or sold in the U.S. are approved by the FDA for use in both human foods and pet foods. Preservatives in our pet foods are needed to help ensure quality and to maintain freshness of the product. Preservatives are listed in the ingredient statement.

Party Mix Real Chicken

We usually get the salmon flavor and will probably stick to it in the future. The chicken flavor comes in small crumb size and the cats don't like that.
