Halo Holistic Chicken Recipe Senior Canned Dog Food, 13.2-oz, case of 6

I really had to hunt for a wet food for my 14 year old basset hound that she could easily digest. She was eating one of the “fresh” dog foods after I realized she could no longer digest dry food (constant grumbling and wicked old dog farts), but when the store suddenly increased the price 40%, I had to look elsewhere. This food has the balance of fat and protein I was looking for, and she digests it really easily. Also, it’s one of the few dog foods I could find that doesn’t have natural flavors added. Natural flavors in dog food seem ridiculous to me. Birdie eats turds, so I don’t think she is too concerned about flavor enhancers. The only downside is the price. This food is admittedly hard to afford, but I have a hard time saying no to things that are good for my sweet senior girl. I think this food is right for pet owners under specific circumstances.
