Does this freeze dried salmon hydrate well?

The Salmon treats are to be fed as is, no hydration is required. This treat is not a meal substitute therefore it does not require hydration. When hydrating any freeze dried treat, it can take time to absorb the moisture.

While these are made in the USA, can anyone tell me where the salmon (and other flavors) is sourced?

Once you open the treats, it should be completely sealed and stored in a cool dry place. For the best taste, feed within 2-4 months. The" Best Buy Date" is printed on every product.

These freeze-dried cubes of salmon are nirvana to my cat. I find that she can't handle the size of the cubes, so I tried, first, to tear them apart into smaller pieces. I found that they shredded everywhere, so I simply use a small pair of scissors to cut them into smaller cubes in my palm as she awaits, not so patiently. She loves to gobble the tinier cubes UP!

My picky eaters wouldn’t even touch them. But they are an exception because they’re the pickiest two cats(siblings) I’ve ever had!! But this brand Halo is awesome!

My cat loves these freeze dried fish treats! She goes crazy for them! Only real issue is she only eats the smaller pieces, if i give her one of the average sized

My cat loves these freeze dried fish treats! She goes crazy for them! Only real issue is she only eats the smaller pieces, if i give her one of the average sized ones that most of them are she just wont eat it. Cats dont generally chew like dogs do. They prefer keeping their mouths clean so they take small clean bites. For whatever reason when she tries to do that with these treats they just don’t break apart. Unless I sit there and pull it apart myself she won’t eat it. Its quite difficult for me to do even with opposable thumbs so i can see why she wont eat them unless I do it. I’m sorry but I really don’t want to have to struggle to break apart a treat everytime my cat wants one. I won’t be buying again for this reason.
