This food is hard and does not crumble. Adding some warm water, while not necessary, can help reconstitute the meat and soften it a bit if desired.

This food has close to a 2 year shelf life, unopened. Once opened, it will stay fresh for 30-60 days if kept in a cool, dry place.

I have been really upset about the Halo Beef Freeze Dried Food being out of stock. My dogs have been on this food from the beginning @ they are 11 & 12 years old. We’ve supported the original company, True Dog early in its beginning. I was worried about tummy upsets by having to change their food but the Halo Turkey has been great. No tummy problems on sensitive stomachs. When will the beef be back in stock?
