So my dog likes this just fine. It’s great for his tummy. However, if I get the more economical 22lb bag, by the end it’s stale and I can barely get him to eat it. I finally after many years of buying it, realized he tends to get sick at the end of the bag. And yes, I keep it in a stay fresh container. So now I’m spending almost twice as much on the small bag so that he can have fresher food. Most of the others offer like a 10 or 15 lb bag. Please offer a middle size!

Ok I can't give a very detailed review yet, I'm still in the middle of switching out my girls food. She's been having some awful diarrhea issues and our vet put her on prescription Hills Science Digestion Care id, she's been on that for a couple of months and I'm slowly, VERY slowly mixing and swapping the Rx food for this, I'm hoping her belly agrees with only this without the need for prescription. If not I'll keep her on the prescription food. I really do hope this works, prescription food is expensive and this is so much more affordable. She really likes the taste of this and yes, she is a picky eater. If she doesn't like something she just won't eat it, that hasn't been an issue since I introduced this. It's affordable, comes in a 3.5lb bag so this will last almost a full month, maybe longer. I love how Hills Science has the velcro closure! I was a little worried that the kibble would be too big for her little mouth but it's not. She'd been on Royal Canin for Shih-tzu's for over 6 years, I never would've switched her but with the constant diarrhea we didn't have a choice, I'll try anything to get her back to normal. Thank you Chewy for being so awesome and thank you Hills Science for having so many options for my girls needs!
