My dogs have sensitive tummies. Now that they're older I thought this would go well after the Sensitive Stomach & Skin kibble. They had no problens with other Perfect Digestion kibble in the past but I believe the addition of the pecan shells are the offending issue. My little gal became increasingly uncomfortable. At first it seemed fine but halfway through the bag I noticed her being very fidgety & unsettled at night. I gave some to my other dog & he loved it but when I started adding it to his food, he was eating grass & throwing up outside.. The lightbulb went on when I saw someone on the Hills site complaining about the pecan shells being added to the i/d kibble & her dog was also throwing up. I still have about 1/3 of the bag left but it's at the point now that I can only add 1 tbsp to their food twice a week. I just used my $30 egift card to buy 2 small bags of other Hills senior kibble, senior vitality & 7+ chicken flavor. Hopefully 1 of those will work out for us. We never had a problem with any Hills kibble but we have to be super careful with canned food. This was disappointing.
Older dog digestion friendly.

My puppy loves it
Our mini golden doodle puppy is 9 weeks old and enjoys this kibble. He cleans his bowl of the Science Diet and leaves the other kibble. We will fully move to this

HORRIBLE!

I thought this would be good to try to firm up my dogs stool a little - adding just a tablespoon a day to start a 10 day transition. At day 3 she was so constipated she had just something like melted butter and blood. After an emergency vet visit, she had pancreatitis! Never have had that happen to any of my dogs in all my life. Now she’s on an antibiotic and prescription food to try to undo what 3 days of this food caused. Horrible!!!

Thought she might like the Chicken in it.
She wasn't crazy about it and even though we gave her plenty of time to adjust to it, her stools were too soft and won't firm up. She wasn't a fan.

So far, so good!

I have been trying to find a food for my two senior dogs that helps with the or very temperamental stomachs, still provides them with the nutrients they need, AND that they will actually eat (kind of picky and not food driven). So far, they seem to like this one. It has only been about two weeks, so not sure about any change in the digestive issues, but I have my fingers crossed!
They love the food.
Small bites. Both Bella and Dottie clean their bowles.
