Hill's does not have the copper content of this food available nor are the exact percentages of an ingredient available as that is proprietary information. They recommend speaking with your veterinarian and having them contact their Veterinarian Consultation Services for this information.

The source of Hill's "Natural flavors" is proprietary. Natural flavors are natural ingredients used to make the food taste great, like seasonings on human food, this brand uses flavor enhancements.

I have purchased items from Chewy with my previous dogs and now again with the new baby. I accidentally purchased this food for years 7+ and I didn’t notice when I bought it. My Minnie is only 7 lbs. at 10 months old and am afraid this might harm her. I will purchase again soon. My vet recommended this brand. If you could possibly inform me if this food would hurt my dog could you please inform me.

Hills Science diet senior adult 7+ SMALL BITES chicken dry dog food. My dog is small at 10 lbs. He's almost 17 years old and missing many of his teeth. This food works great for my dog. Its a solid quality dog food. I add a little warm water to it and let it soak for a few minutes and then stir in a little good canned food as well. (Nutro premium loaf canned w chicken, I get from Chewy) He laps it all up and licks the bowl clean. I feed him this meal two times a day. At his age it's really important that he not skip meals. Sometimes I switch the canned portion to another one of his favorites but I always keep the dry portion the same. Also this Hills small bites food keeps my dog regular. Too much canned food slows his bowels. So using this as a main ingredient keeps his system working properly which is super important especially at his age. I highly recommend.

I purchase her dog food regularly however I always have to buy the smaller bags because it’s what I can afford, but this sale has made it affordable and I won’t have to purchase her kibble for at least four months, I usually mix her kibble with bone broth, turmeric, and wet can food with added vitamins.

We couldn't figure out why our dogs would not eat their new bag of food. They had always loved this food. I wrote to the company and they informed me that they changed the formula and kibble size and shape. If it's not broke don't fix it Science Diet. We switched them to Victor and will never purchase the "new and improved" version of this food again.

I have fed this food to both of my dogs since the day they joined our family. My girl lived to be 17.5 years old with no major health issues until well into her senior years (age 16 or so). My boy is 16, and is now only showing health issues related to old age. I highly recommend this food to anyone who is looking for a high quality pet food.
