[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hill's Science Diet has an amazing reputation for making nutritious and healthy pet food. This savory beef pate entree is no different. My three kitty cats love this moist canned food. Now my three cats have completely different taste buds and levels of pickiness, but all three gobble this canned food from Hill's Science right up & even lick the bowl clean! Not only do I love the fact that they all love the taste, I also love that Hill's Science Diet is known for its pet food aiding in support of vital organs & its protein packed for lean muscle. With two of my felines being geriatric (and one being a diabetic) , this is so very important to me for the health and longevity of my beloved pets. Proven protein sources listed as first ingredients, along with my cats loving the flavor is a win....win in my book! Of course, we also adore Chewy to supply this five pet family household. Chewy is always our "go to" for pet supplies through the years. We adore the birthday cards that come for every birthday and the promotional sales and offers they have frequently. Our cats and dogs love Hill's Science Diet and Chewy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have heard lots of great things about Hill's but had never tried it. It came up as an item i could select and they had beef which most of my cats love. However I could not get my cats to eat this food. I have twelve cats. Three have health concerns, so i did not include them in this. I opened the can and the food LOOKED good. It didn't smell bad, there was nothing that jumped out as something that would cause cats to turn away, and yet they did. Of the nine i offered it to, six sniffed and turned their backs. The remaining three sampled and ate less than half. (I split three cans in half and filled six bowls. I did not offer a bowl from which another cat had eaten to try to ensure that it wasn't refused due to "Mom, this smells like Morgan has been drooling in it, i don't want THAT" I left the food out for about an hour to see if any one else would come back and give it a second try. I didn't want to waste the cat food since I know Hill's is expensive, so i offered it to the ferals that show up some evenings. I do not know if the feral cats at it, or the foxes, or the raccoons or the possums, BUT the food was gone the following morning. Unfortunately this is probably NOT what you would want for a review, but none of the 9 cats i offered the food to ate more than a few bites. I do not normally feed them high end food but i also do not feed them econo food either, so i don't think it was simply they are accustomed to junk food and were turning up their noses at a healthy diet. For some reason Hill's just did not appeal to them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was for sure certain my kitty would really like this cat food. It was well mixed, had good ingredients and was from Hills. I eagerly scooped it in her food dish, carefully trying to keep the bits of congealed gravy visible for a perfect presentation for her. After much coaxing, she nonchalantly smelled it and swiftly began to try and cover it up. Devastated but not defeated, I moved the dish so she could try again to eat it...... This time she gave me the look of true disgust and tried again to cover it up and then proceeded to immediately jump into the cardboard box that came with the canned food and proceeded to strike a pose. I tried a few other times to have her try it with zero success....disappointed I can only think that if it had way more gravy my kitty would have been for sure tempted to eat it...and the way she was posing around the cans, I can only assume she thought she would be a cuter model on the can 🙂...

High quality, high price, low interest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What defines a rating? Is it just what the reaction is? Or is it something more? All I can say is that I’m disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What defines a rating? Is it just what the reaction is? Or is it something more? All I can say is that I’m disappointed. I have two cats that free eat dry food and get 3 oz of wet food every day. They always look forward to the wet food and come running when they hear the can opening. I wanted to get them something more healthy, so I was excited to try this. They’ve never been particularly picky before, so imagine my surprise when, at the end of the day, they had barely touched it. Bottom line, I am willing to pay for high quality, which this food is. But no food is worth the price if it goes uneaten. My search continues.
