My dog just turned 6 and was diagnosed with diabetes. He has no risk factors, breed-wise or environment. He's never been overweight; he's active; minimal table scraps (what the baby drops). He's only JUST turned 6. He's been eating Hill's science diet without exception since we got him from a reputable breeder as a puppy and that's what they were feeding him. Thought paying more for dog food would prevent major health issues down the road, but I guess not. There's barely any regulation for human food, so why would there be for dog food, I guess. Probably the same stuff as Ol' Roy, just four times more expensive. Save your money.

Great flavor, my dog likes this more than peanut butter and loves peanut butter. Not a great odor to smell but pretty easy to get used to. Only really smells when not in air tight container and in bulk. Hardly any smell when measuring out a cup or so at a time for feeding. Would not store in living room personally.

She has never been so happy with her food. Her energy levels are up up up and she’s back to her bouncy happy self. All she wants to do is play and cuddle. It’s truly amazing and heartbreaking at the same time to get to see that loving spirit of hers once more. We found each other during the darkest parts of both of our lives and she’s always been there for me. I’m doing everything I can to make sure she’s as happy as possible for her last few years. Running to the bowl for this has definitely become one of them.

I would buy more stuff from chewy if I could use Autoship and get the deal that going on at the same time. Example I get the Autoship with the discount, the next shipment is 5% off. But I have a 20% discount I can't use on that order. So I cancel the Autoship and get 20% to 40% off from some one else. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles and 3 lizards, but I'm only buying dog food because of the way it works. Everyone wants a little discount when they buy stuff.

she gnawed all the hair off her shins on each back of legs and biting her nails. So Dr Boasso had tried for over 6 months and just didnt like giving steroids so she put her on Royal Canin to easily wean her off of Hills. Then we will start the process of elimination if the itching returns/ so far its getting less on her licking her paws.
