Hill's sources raw materials only from countries where there are reliable safety procedures in place, primarily in the United States, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and several European countries. Only two of their ingredients come from China; Taurine and L-Carnitine. China is the number one supplier of many of the specialized vitamins and amino acids for all manufacturers. In fact, China supplies over 90% of the world's Taurine. The reputable facilities that Hill's works with are strictly audited and certified prior to even considering buying the ingredient from them. Hill's absolutely ensures the safety of the Taurine and L-Carnitine they receive from China. Hill's goes to great lengths to ensure the safety of the ingredients they use. Regardless of the country where their ingredients are sourced from, the ingredient supplier must meet Hill's strict guidelines for doing business. Each shipment must meet Hill's quality and safety qualifications before entering its plants.

I have a very picky kitten. I prefer he eats wet food because I’ve read it is a closer match for the nutrients he needs. We’ve tried a few different wet foods and he seems to really enjoy this one. As soon as i put it in his dish, he starts gobbling it up! Others he has snubbed his nose at completely or will eat it hours later (assuming when he gets hungry). The texture of this is like stew, it has chunks of meat, carrots, and rice. I will be ordering more!

We wanted something to introduce the kittens to a food texture besides pate that they would actually eat. And the kittens love it - they almost lick the bowls

Good product

I like this brand because it is the healthiest among all other can products. Does not smell like cat food and my kitty loves it.

I’ve always given my cats Hill’s, and when I got my third cat it was roughly estimated he was about 1-2 years old. I got him kitten food since he was on the skinny side, and while I don’t have doubts about the quality, the chunky consistently of the food meant he didn’t always eat the bigger pieces. I wound up switching to a pate version.

I got this for my two very young kittens. They seemed to love it; now they are on the similar but dry mini kibble.
