I don't what is wrong with this food but it gave both my pups loose stool. I have been picking up pudding poops for the last 3 weeks thinking it had to do with the medication they were on for intestinal parasites. But once they finished the meds, it did not get any better. It wasn't until I took a risk changing their food to Purina Pro Plan Puppy (for under one year) that things took a turn for the better. Even the first couple days of introducing the new food with the 25% ratio made a difference. Now that they are at 75% Purina, both pups' stools are completely solid and easy to pick up. No more pudding poops.

I got this because it’s what the breeder was feeding them, she mentioned that some things had changed with the recipe and I agree that it seems a bit greasy. She warned me that he may have an allergy to the food as it’s common with dogs and chicken. So far, he seems fine but I’ll eventually wean him off to a different brand or possibly start making dog food at home again.

Puppy loved BUT

Our puppy would devour this kibble, but after a month, he hadn’t adjusted and developed some pretty loose, pudding-like stools.
