My kitties both have IBD and the only protein they can tolerate is duck. Up till now they've only been eating one food, Identity Pet, which they love. But I never liked the idea of them eating ONLY one recipe of one brand forever (what if they get sick of it?), so I was really happy to find this one! Even though the reviews were mixed, the ingredients looked very good, so I tried it. The only major difference btw this & their other food is that this one uses salmon oil, & their other food uses coconut oil. I'm happy to report that they like this food just as much, and it hasn't had any impact on their digestion. Plus this food is cheaper! I'm very happy to have another food in my kitties' diet. I do suggest that you add water though, it's quite dense. That's what I do and my kitties love it!

They are mineral deposits commonly found in high quality wet food. They are perfectly normal and not at all unsafe. The food has great ingredients, no unnecessary fillers, and is a smooth, hydrating pate without being watery.
