Any colors Iams may add to their products are completely safe, even for human food. The safety of all of the color additives has been affirmed by the FDA, as well as reviewed by leading scientists and regulatory bodies. A few examples of the added colors and flavors include FD&C dyes, fruit juice, turmeric or natural caramel color. Not only does the manufacturer care about their products being visually appealing, but their top priority is providing a healthy, and tasty meal. I give this to both my dogs every day. The gobble up this good with no problems. The have a high quality human grade dry food that I keep down at all times, but they especially love this daily treat! Plus they are getting a cost effective alternative to other less nutrisous alternatives. I'm very picky what I feed my fur babies.

Iams used to be one of the top quality brands of dog food. I opened the can expecting the same as years before but was extremely disappointed. The consistency was thick, hard, and looked like a cheap off brand. My dogs ate it just fine, but they will eat just about anything. :) I have started buying Purina again.

I’m not sure how much longer I can continue feeding my dog this canned food because of the expense. I’m a divorced senior citizen and live on a limited income. I wish there was a small discount offered by the company to offset the cost. It’s a great food and I’ll try and keep buying it for my dog but how how long?I’m not sure.

Spock gets a mix of canned and dry and LOVES this food. We have fed him only Iams his entire life. We tried a change one time and he didn't do well at all. So we haven't ever tried to change again. His breeder swore by Iams brand foods. He has always been a healthy little furkid.

Quality

She started eating then she stopped. Food would be in the bowl all night and we would have to throw out. So we had to change.

I usually buy my dog the Beyond organics chicken pate, but chewy was out of stock of it so I got this iams instead. I don't normally buy iams bc I don't care for the brand for reasons... but my dog seems to like it ok and that's good. If she's happy, I'm happy. I will go back to the brand I normally buy for her when she needs it nxt time. So, overall it's an acceptable wet food to add to her no grain dry. Thank you chewy for great service and reliability!
