These guideline amounts are a starting point and your cat may need more food depending upon age, activity and temperament. In order to reach optimal body condition, you may need to adjust food intake. This represents the total recommended volume of food per day. You should divide the total recommended feeding amount by the number of times you feed your cat per day to get the actual portion size per feeding. If you have a kitten, pregnant or nursing cat, we recommend feeding IAMS kitten food. Remember to have clean, fresh water available for your cat at all times. Because IAMS HEALTHY ENJOYMENT cat food is complete and balanced for maintenance, you do not need to add vitamin or mineral supplements. When introducing IAMS cat food, gradually mix it with your cat's current food over the course of 4 days.
We recommend always using a transition period when introducing any new wet or dry food to your dog or cat. Mix 25% of the new food in with 75% of the current food. Over a 5-10 day period, gradually increase the amount of new food in the mixture until it's the only thing in the bowl. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

I have been feeding my cats this food for the last 3 years and it has been absolutely amazing they have never been sick they enjoy it I actually put them a bowl

Picky cats will not eat
I have about 15 cats and they must be very picky because none of them liked this food. I had to go out and buy their original food because they wouldn’t stop meowing

I decided to give this a try since iams is the brand he will eat some of and he LOVES this. I usually have to give him more to eat every day because he’s finishing his bowls!
