Do these have any little bones in them?

These dog chews do not contain any bones. These chews are made from thin layers of cod skin, with any bones carefully removed before the skin is tightly hand-wrapped. Bone fragments has never been seen by Icelandic in this product, and due to the way they’re prepared, it’s highly unlikely. However, out of an abundance of caution, we always recommend supervising your dog while they enjoy it.

Approximately how long does it take a dog to chew one stick?

It takes my mini dachshund a week or longer to finish the long ones.

How long is each chew? I have a German Shepard and I want to know if it is going to be the right size for him.

Each chew is approximately 5 inches long. They are great for puppies, small and medium breed dogs.

I thought the 3 count was the amount of bags. This is the second time I've ordered from chewy and the headline is misleading. This will be my last order from chewy

I love how these chews are only made with cod skin, Cod skins are rich is r protein which support energy, building & maintaining strong muscles & Omega 3 fatty acids which support coat & joint health. Just like hoomans, fish is a much healthier meat than chicken, beef, turkey & pork. I always buy the Icelandic brand & try to get them Icelandic fis skin chews more often than any other kind of chew.

Not Ideal For XS Dogs

My dog is absolutely obsessed with these, but he is only 5 pounds, and once he tears apart the chew it does feel like a choking hazard because he can't fully chew

My dog is absolutely obsessed with these, but he is only 5 pounds, and once he tears apart the chew it does feel like a choking hazard because he can't fully chew through the skin when it breaks into smaller pieces. If they made a size for smaller dogs we would repurchase, but probably best for larger dogs.
