Does this kill ticks on contact?

This treatment kills ticks on contact, so they don't need to bite your dog to die. It also repels ticks, preventing them from attaching in the first place. This topical treatment kills fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and lice and repels biting flies. It is effective for up to 4 weeks after application.

Does this work on ear mites or other mites as well?

How strong is the odor of the product? If there is an odor, how long does it last?

This flea and tick treatment will have a faint odor, similar to a chemical or alcohol scent. The smell can remain for up to 24 hours until the treatment has completely dried. Smell is subjective and the strength of the smell can vary from person to person.

I have 3 dogs. Should I keep them from playing the day after it's been applied? They bite each other's necks. I gave it to them last night before sleeping.

Do not allow the dogs to lick any of the application sites and keep separated for 30 minutes.

I don't yet know if this product has helped to repel fleas or ticks, but I won't be purchasing it again either way. My golden doodle, who doesn't normally have sensitive skin, had a reaction to this topical treatment. I followed instructions, but one spot was bugging her so much she was licking / biting / rubbing against it. Her skin was very itchy and raw. I would recommend testing a small amount for 24 hours before the full application.

This has always been my go-to product for fleas. Unfortunately, since the government banned the use of the active ingredient that made it most effective it doesn't work as well. The old formula was used to protect them from the fleas even biting. Now it only kills the active fleas when you apply it. After that it only kills the fleas after they bite. So you're dog still suffers from the itch of being bit. The only product that supposedly still gives complete protection is Revolution which is only available from a vet. And then they want you to bring your pet in for a check up before they will prescribe it. So with the vet fees and the medication it adds up to @$300 to get it. I have just ordered a natural repellent online to see if that works. I will update later as to how well it works and provide the name of it if it's allowed.
