This product kills fleas on dogs within 12 hours and can be used for an active infestation.

Does it wash off the dog with a bath?

Dogs should be completely dry before application and remain dry for 24 hours after application. Dogs can be bathed after the 24 hours.

Is it safe around my cats?

It is recommended to keep cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Does it leave a residue feeling once dried?

It's true you get what you pay for, as the Advantix started working immediately with no bad reaction, and her scratching stopped, and still no fleas seen on her going into week three. This will be our go to from now on.

After trying Bravecto which caused diarrhea in both of my dogs, I have reverted to using Advantix. It is easy to put on them and they don't seem to mind it (no obvious odor). It does leave discoloration on the white fur though but have not seen any fleas or ticks on them this Summer.
