Instructions
- Remove the Pet Bed Warmer from inside the cushion.
- Remove the foam ring from inside the cover.
- Wash the cover and cushion on the gentle cycle with cold water.
- Line dry or use the no-heat cycle on your dryer.
- If the foam ring needs to be cleaned, hand wash with soapy water, rinse, squeeze the water out gently, and then air dry.

FAQ
There is a zipper located in the cushion. Simply unzip that and pull the heater out. To find the zipper pull, take your finger and gently poke it through the bed where the cord comes out of the bed. Now look on the other side to see where your finger is poking through. That is where the zipper pull will be located.
The cord is 5.5 feet long.
The surface of the bed will be about 15°F above ambient air temperature until the pet lies on the bed. Then it will warm to about 102°F, which is the natural body temperature of dogs and cats.
This bed is not pressure sensitive. All K&H heated beds and pads feature dual thermostats and are designed to warm to your pet's normal body temperature when he/she lies on the pad. This is a function of the insulation provided by a pet’s body, not the weight of the pet.K&H beds and pads will emit heat anytime they are plugged in so your pet can sense that heat and be drawn to the bed or pad for warmth and comfort. When your pet is not on the pad, the heat will dissipate into the air and the surface temperature will vary according to the ambient air temperature.
MET requires that all manufacturers put the extension cord statement “Do not use with extension cord” on every item that is MET listed by UL 499 standards. This is because they cannot test every extension cord on the market in conjunction with our products for safety. Also, MET suggests that an extension cord is not recommended as a permanent fixture and should only be a temporary solution when using any electrical product.
MET Safety Laboratories suggests unplugging the bed if you leave your home on an extended vacation, as they do with any electrical appliance. Otherwise, it is designed for 24/7 operation and you can leave it plugged in all day. This item has been certified by MET labs to adhere to strict electrical safety standards.
There is not an off/on switch. The pad is always on when plugged in.

Unfortunately the bed won't warm up. We did as the instructions indicated and put a pillow on top of the bed for twenty minutes and there was absolutely no warmth
Unfortunately the bed won't warm up. We did as the instructions indicated and put a pillow on top of the bed for twenty minutes and there was absolutely no warmth when we checked. We tried again putting a pillow and a bit of weight, waited another twenty minutes and once again no warmth. We have another K&H heated bed which has been working perfectly for almost 10 years so disappointed this one didn't work out.
Bent - poor packaging
The bed arrived in this box, which 100% would deform the round shape. This is our first experience with Chewy and likely our last. Very disappointed

My 15 year old kitty adores this bed. I got the small size and was worried it would be too small but he loves it. He’s only about 9lb so he’s not a huge cat. He spends most of the day and night in this bed. I know he really loves it because he chooses it over laying next to the wood stove, which used to be his favorite thing to do! I think it’s also helpful since he has chronic upper respiratory symptoms so sleeping further away from the wood stove is good for his nasal passages. I’m ordering another one for my other cat :)

She’s been lounging in them daily since December. Our youngest cat is still trying to form an opinion but in fairness, she’s almost always on the move. Rarely is there a time when at least one of these isn’t occupied.

I had originally ordered a smaller, cheaper heated bed and he loved it even though it was a bit small for him. My smaller female cat adoped it as hers, so I needed to get a larger one for him. He immediately claimed the larger bed and spends lots of time there. The cushion is very thick and soft and there is ample room for this large cat. If there was a human-sized one, I would buy one for myself. I see they are now out of stock but hopefully more will be coming. I highly recommend.

Distorted shape
Sadly this came in a plastic bag rolled up which distorted its round shape I have worked on this bending and can not get it back to a round shape . I’m assuming
