Is this a suitable salmon oil for ferrets?

This supplement is designed for dogs and cats only and has not been tested for ferrets. We recommend consulting your Veterinarian to ensure this would be a good fit for your pet's current nutrition plan, as dietary and other healthcare changes should be made under the guidance of your vet.

Does this product require refrigeration after opening? Also, how long does the product stay fresh once it’s been opened?

This supplement should be stored in a cool, dry place. Avoid temperatures above 86 F. Once opened, keep refrigerated for up to 6 months or store dry for up to 1 month.

Can this be giving to puppies too?

The Salmon & Pollack used in this supplement are wild caught in the cleanest waters in the world in Alaska. The oil also goes through a three-step filtration process and is tested for any contaminants such as mercury to ensure that it is safe for your pet's enjoyment.

I’ve heard salmon oil is good for a dog‘s joints, skin and coats. I was giving my dog salmon oil in pill form, but she wouldn’t it without it being in a pill pocket so to save some money. I thought I’d try the oil and I give her a squirt everyday. It’s too early to tell if it’s doing anything positive for her joints, but she does have a shiny coat.

Not to mention my senior dogs joints started bothering him more when we didnt add a bit to his food. Love fish oil in this house. Saves me a fortune on wet food also.
