My dog has eaten this toy, and she carries around the remaining nub. Is it safe for her to eat? It's too late now, but I should probably know!! I assumed it would be safe because of it being by Kong.

The Core Strength bone is for light to moderate chewing. For the tough chew sessions try KONG rubber. Supervised use only. Discontinue use if damaged. Kong rubber toys are designed specifically for the tough chew sessions and, though no dog toy is completely indestructible, are recommended by veterinarians, trainers and behaviorists for tough chewers. Once the integrity of the toy has been compromised, we recommend removing that toy from your pup's toy box rotation. When a pup has been able to get into a toy, he will most likely be driven to completely destroy the rest of the toy.

KONG toys can be cleaned in the top rack of a dishwasher. It can also be cleaned by soaking it in warm water with dish soap to loosen leftovers and using a brush or old toothbrush to remove stubborn bits, then rinsing.

Not for extreme chewers

Got this as it was showing for extreme chewers. 20 minutes after giving this to our dog she already ripped chunks off. When reading the package it says for medium

My dogs chew these apart. Before I could get it away from her she had ate some of it. With it being the Kong brand, I thought it was indestructible but it’s not. It ended up having to pay a $3,900 emergency vet bill to get it out. I couldn’t gibe this toy zero stars but I would have.
