Holds up but smaller than I thought it’d be

Bought the black Kong size large to replace my dogs torn up, dirty, red one we’d thrown out. We bought the original one in stores and I wasn’t paying attention to what size it was labeled as. So when choosing the size here I went with large cause she’s a 60lbs pittie mix and that seemed appropriate. When it arrived it was definitely smaller than the other one we had gotten rid of. Not small enough that it seems like a hazard but I wouldn’t have chosen this size if it was in stores. It’s held up well (and better than the red one) we’ve had it for 4 months and it’s just now really showing tooth marks (at the 4mo mark the red one already had small chunks missing). She’s not the Most Extreme of chewers but she’s definitely hardcore and I’m pleased with how it’s held up. Definitely will buy again when this one craps out just the XL instead of the L

A puppy favorite

I bought this for my 8-month-old wheaten terrier who chews through soft toys in hours. Not this! We've had it for a couple of weeks, and it still looks brand new. I have not even put a treat in it, and it is one of his "go to" toys. I was hesitant about the shape, thinking what he would do with it, but I was so wrong. He loves it. He chews it, throws and chases it. Kong is a great brand and I do highly recommend this product.

Almost Indestructible

Our doberman can eat through anything. These are by far the closest thing to indestructible we have found. We fill it with treats and it usually lasts him about an hour, then we take it away, other wise he works little chunks off and breaks it. After a while they wear out a bit and we replace them. But this is by far one of his favorite toys.

Extreme Chewer XL toy

Usually these last a few weeks, usually about once a month we replace with new ones. This last batch of toys only seemed to last about a week. Nothing out of the ordinary, or extreme conditions and they reached the point of needing replaced. We replaced and the new ones seem to be holding up like usual. Not sure, but other than that one time we’re usually happy with our purchase Will definitely buy more

Love these

Perfect for my 4 German Shepherds. 2 of them are super chewers and these things last forever. They are not hard on their teeth either. The only reason I bought new ones is because they lost a couple of them and I got a bigger size than last time which is awesome.

Kong Extreme Chewer

I first bought the Pink Puppy Kong for our 8 month old Black Lab. She managed to tear that up quickly. I called Chewy, they refunded my money & suggested the extreme chewer Black Kong. Maggie loves it, along with trying to get the treats out it.

Surprisingly lasts

I didn’t know if or how my dog would play with with this w/o treats inside. But sure enough she’s loved it since day one. It’s been holding up for a few weeks now & really helps with her extensive chewing

Always Great

These have been great for the 3 big chewers that I’ve had over the years. The shelter where I adopted 2 of them uses these so I like to donate some Kongs every now & then.

Not for my Extreme chewer

My 2 yr old Boston Terrier girl chewed the top into pieces. I kind of figured she'd be able to bite on it, but not for it to come off into pieces. Unfortunately, for us it is not good.

Not for super chewers

My 1 year old, 75lb Rottweiler/Pitbull mix Kona tore this thing up in a day. Gave it a chance and bought the larger size for her weight group. Lasted about 4 hours. When she gets a new chew toy she doesn’t stop till she succeeds in chewing it down to pieces. Definitely will tear small pieces, I caution anyone using these toys to monitor their dogs for choking hazards. Once it breaks toss it.
