Does this toy contain natural latex?

This toy is related to latex as natural rubber is made from latex. Latex is the material that is extracted from the rubber trees. Natural rubber is then produced from that latex. This means the natural rubber toys are a slightly different material than the latex used in latex gloves, but are ultimately derived from latex.

Can you wash this toy in the dishwasher? Can similar Kong puppy toys be put in the dishwasher?

All KONG Rubber toys are top-rack dishwasher safe. Make sure to skip the drying cycle as excess heat can damage the toy.

Is this toy suitable for a larger breed (Labrador) puppy or better for smaller dogs?

The Small toy is designed for puppies weighing up to 35 pounds and the Medium/Large toy is designed for puppies weighing 30-65 pounds.

Can you put peanut butter in it?

You can stuff the inner track with treats or peanut butter. It can also be frozen to help soothe teething puppies even more.

Great for heavy chewers

My 12-week Staffy absolutely loves this toy. I’ll simply put a couple of treats inside the rim of the tire, and she goes nuts chewing the toy, moistening the treats

My 12-week Staffy absolutely loves this toy. I’ll simply put a couple of treats inside the rim of the tire, and she goes nuts chewing the toy, moistening the treats until she can get a little lick, bite, or finally chew enough to reduce the size of the treats until she so she gets her reward. Afterwards, when the treats are gone, she’ll continue chewing the tire as the scent remains. Keeps her occupied for quite some time. Often it’s the first toy she brings me in the morning - excited and chewing away. I’ll add a treat or two and she’s off to the races. Great for heavy chewers.

I'm really thrilled with this puppy tire kong! Primrose always gets so excited whenever I pull this out and stuff treats in it. It keeps her occupied for a good 20 minutes while I go off and do other things. It's also a great way to settle her right before she goes to sleep.
