This seat cover comes with opening side flaps that prevent puckering and velcro flaps you can adjust to fit both single and bench seats. It is suitable for either side of the backseat.

Is this safe for cars with side air bags to work in case of an accident?

This seat cover is very nice, made to last and easy to clean. My only issue with it is that we couldn't keep the seat part on properly. Frustrating altho didn't seem to bother my husband at all. Might be that our TrailBlazer seats are just an odd size and if we had the time we could have figured out a way to bungee it snug or some other solution. That's my only complaint.
