For optimal odor absorption, change the carbon filter every month.

The 2-3 carbon filters that came with the litter robot lasted me YEARS. I ordered these.. Absolutely horrendous, overpowering urine smell from the box has been happening ever since. I change these filters and it keeps the smell at bay for 1-2 days before it fails. Ive thoroughly cleaned the box, taken it apart and cleaned it and still the smell returns quickly after a filter replacement.
