These wet dog food toppers will have a "Best By Date" stamped on each individual package. Please refer to this date and remember to refrigerate any un-eaten portions and consume them within 7 days.

This topper contains approximately 26 calories per cup. Feed up to approximately 1/8 cup of Merrick Chicken Bone Broth per 10 pounds of body weight per day. Each 1/8 cup contains approximately 3 calories.

We do not recommend to freeze the products as this will diminish any nutritional profile for the broth. However, we do recommend that after opening it is store in the refrigerator up to 7 days.

My older cat licks off the "extra gravy" from the wet cat food I feed her then leaves the rest behind. I wanted to buy her a gravy or broth that I could pour over her food to encourage her to eat more but for reasons unknown (she won't explain it to me), she sniffed at Merrick's broth and walked away. Twice. IF she had liked it, I was not happy to learn Merrick's broth is "intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only". What would have happened if I fed it to her every day!? What if I didn't read the label on the bottle?! Anyway, she wasn't interested in trying it so it's in the garbage now. The search continues!
