I have three pitbulls, all seniors over 10, with various health issues (skin, cancer, etc) and because they had slowed down over the years, my veterinarian told me to put them on wet food because it would have less calories. I tried several brands, but I when I found the Merrick stews I knew it was the brand for my "kids." When I opened the can it was night and day difference to other brands I had tried. Big huge chucks of meat, a thick gravy, and dotted with baby carrots and other vegetables. The Carver's delight is one of their favorites, and when I crack the can, one of my boys gets so excited he starts to howl and excitedly bark from his place on our window seat. They gobble it right up, and now look forward to their dinners.
Nice big chunks of meat
This is another flavor that my Shelties like a lot. Has nice big chunks of meat and carrots.

Maggie likes a bit of gravy to coat the 1/2 cup of dry food served with her evening meal. I can tell in advance if she will like a food - if you shake the can and hear it slosh around inside its a winner. Carver's delight is one that she cant wait to eat. Only the Chicken Thigh stew gets her more excited (do remove the bone from the thigh before serving). But I digress - Carvers delight is excellent.
High priced but he likes it
Merrick is pricier than other brands I've tried, but currently the only thing my dog has eaten consistently.

It's a change
I get something like this as an occasional change from my girl's regular food. She seems to like it.
