Merrick crafts their recipes with the world's best ingredients from the best producers. Most of their ingredients come from the USA, however, in certain circumstances some ingredients may come from another country (like lamb from New Zealand) to ensure the highest quality possible. Each and every ingredient must meet Merrick’s own rigorous quality standards. Ingredients are tested upon arrival, samples are tested throughout production, and all pet food is tested before its released for sale. While all of merrick recipes are made in the USA in their Kitchens in Hereford, Texas, they do outsource a few ingredients from other countries. Here is that list:
New Zealand: Lamb and Venison
France: Duck and Rabbit:
Canada/Germany: Vitamins and Minerals Premix.
Everything else is from the US.
What is the total fat content for the Lil Plates Small Breed Wet Dog Food? Our dog is having bouts of pancreatitis and the vet recommended total fats be less than 18%.
