I've been feeding this (along with other full-calorie canned foods) for about 11 years now. I need to watch the weight for 2 out of 3 of my cats who would surely be chunky monkeys by now if not for the lower-calorie content kibble. I introduced it at a time when one of my cats had issues with high-fiber/ash foods and selected the brand because it was one of the only brands on the market with a lower fiber/ash content and it worked for my girl. My cats love it.

Wanted to use this for my three legged cat who needs to lose some weight. She would eat it when I mixed it up to the time it was half her old food and half the new food. At that point, she would pick her old food and leave the new food. I went back to mix 1/4 new food and 3/4 old food.

Flidais has been on a diet for awhile, dropping the weight so slowly and has now hit a plateau despite being more strict on servings sizes and treats. The food she was on has also nearly doubled in price so I thought maybe it's time for a change. Bonus that this has less phosphorus than her other food. She does not have renal disease, but I want to keep it that way. I guess time will tell.

My sister actually took one of my kitties to see if she could help her lose weight as she only has one cat and she startedfeeding my little pumpkin this food. Her cat would not accept this new arrangement and I missed her so I had to get her back. I thought I’ll just put this food in her bowl. But all the other kitties loved it give it full-time except it so expensive. I use it as a bowl of treats. The still love pouring cat chow Naturals and CC Sensitive. But this is definitely a winner!
