Once the bed is removed, the bottom of the crate has a leak-proof plastic pan. The plastic pan sits on a wire frame.

The XS size weighs 9.5 pounds, the Small size weighs 13.9 pound, the Medium size weighs 17.6 pounds, the Medium/Large size weighs 22 pounds, the Large weighs 32 pounds and the XL size weighs 40 pounds.

This crate is not designed for use without the doors.

Does the kit come with a divider? It wasn’t listed in “what’s included “ or in the pictures

This crate is the right size for my corgi and she can really relax in security and comfort. We appreciated how easy it is to set up since it is already joined together

This crate is the right size for my corgi and she can really relax in security and comfort. We appreciated how easy it is to set up since it is already joined together - you just unfold and place the cushion inside. It arrived in 2 days, even though it was ordered on Christmas day. We were all ready for our short road trip.

We were replacing the last Midwest crate which had rusted over the last 4 years and the plastic tray had cracked. The doors on the last one had an additional measure on the door to strengthen it-- you had to lift it up to unlock it. The lower part of the door overlapped the outside of the crate. The new crate doesn't have this feature and on day 1 our dog pulled the crate door in by about two inches and now the door won't open. Fortunately there are 2 doors.

This XL crate is a touch bigger then the last XL crate I purchased from another company. Which for me is a plus and for my Lab. I like that i for the bowls, pass and cover with it. The pad is well designed and enough thickness that I didn't need anything else. Plus the pad has a waterproof bottom. Easy to set up, I'm very happy. Glad I went with Midwest. Doing business with Chewy was a pleasure. Thank you.
