Does the crate cover only have Velcro to secure it or are there supposed to be strings to tie onto the crate itself?

This crate cover has hook-and-loop tabs to hold securely in place and a velcro opening.

The crate covers are a piece of material that covers the crate. It is not padded to protect the wall.

It is a good material that won’t fray since I unfortunately had a different one that the material frayed on. The one thing I don’t really love is how slippery the material is and how easy it moves around and I wish it had the velcro so you could roll it up and Velcro it in place but the only Velcro there is is to hold all of the sides together so the sides you aren't using you just have to sprawl it on top of the crate.

Heck a human could sleep in there comfortably! 10/10 purchase and the triple locking feature is a godsend for our escape artist.

I got mine on sale and absolutely would not suggest paying full price. There's no way to keep it rolled up or taught at the bottom of the crate. If a puppy gets ahold of it, it won't last. Not worth it.
