This purchase includes just 2 panels. While you can try to use an 8-panel exercise pen to help prevent cats from getting into the tree, cats typically climb and jump, so it depends on the cats.

On the 30" how many panels included

I guess it's on me, but I read the description and the reviews, and no one mentioned what the panels themselves were. In the photo, it shows a set of two gate pieces connected, yet separated from the rest. I assumed that the two together were one 'panel' and I would be getting two of those. But that is not the case. You literally get two pieces of fence and that's all!
