This is super cheap, and you get what you pay for, so you can't expect a whole lot. This works for scooping and filling narrow feeders. My only complaint is I wish the slider would click into place. It shifts and opens up the bottom pretty easily, so you have to hold it closed when using it as a scoop, lest you make an unintentional mess.

It broke after one use. The following are reasons I would not recommend: 1. Flimsy materials, weak plastic. 2. The slider is completely useless due to being very loose. 4. The spout is too narrow from top to bottom. Instead of tapering as a funnel, it's a tube. Feed clogs it immediately. Using the hollow "handle" with the "scoop" filled makes awkward weight distribution, and the flimsy construction doesn't hold up. That's why it broke on its first use. It is not functional for the intended purpose. I now use the scoop part (handle broke off) as a regular funnel, although it's not great for that either.

Slide does not stay closed and seed spills out. I have used others in past and never had this issue. Would advise others not to order.

It's so much easier to fill my feeders with this inexpensive but super useful scoop! I especially like the thumb trigger for emptying the feed.
