Adult cats: Adult cats should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Green Pea & Chicken Dry Cat Food, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the table. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your cat’s needs. If you would like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can add small amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food. Gestating and Lactating Queens: Gestating and lactating queens will consume more food, usually an additional 1/2 - 2 daily. Older cats: As your cat begins to age, his energy expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper body weight for your less active cat. Older cats are sometimes more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food will help the most "finicky" eater enjoy their daily meals.
These feeding guidelines are suggested only. Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate. Amounts are recommended for an average cat with normal activity.
We recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian. The maintenance of proper body weight is most important for your cat’s health. Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations for your cat. Remember, fresh clean water should be available at all times!
When switching your cat's diet, we recommend that it be done gradually over a 7-10 day period. Replace 25% of the current diet with the new diet every 2-3 days until they are fully transitioned.

We switch to this food because a few of our cats were having reactions to the TikiCat we were feeding them. Unfortunately, this food has a lot of ingredients that disagree with cats. Duck is the first ingredient, which is good, but after duck and duck mill, chickpeas, peas, canola oil, pea starch, etc are listed. Cats don’t need any of that. One of my cats had severe digestive issues resulting in blood in his poop, another cat started vomiting at least once a week, and another cat would only get a few nibbles before walking away and meowing for something else. Disappointed in this food. Wouldn’t recommend it.
The food was moldy in multiple bags
Our cats ate this food for years without issue. In the past year, however, we received three bags where the food was moldy. Chewy was great about replacing the bags
Our cats ate this food for years without issue. In the past year, however, we received three bags where the food was moldy. Chewy was great about replacing the bags quickly, but once we didn't see the mold until our cat ate some of the food and got sick. After the third bag, we just couldn't bring ourselves to trust this brand anymore and we switched.
Good but hard
The kibble seems way harder than normal kibble. One of my cats struggles to eat it. The other one seems to like it fine. I wish the kibbles were a little flatter

On and off for years my cat was having terrible diarrhea. He steadily got worse, was losing weight, feeling poorly and looking unhealthy. I spent tons of money on testing and a very expensive surgery (that I could not afford) was suggested. We decided to keep trying a change in diet before any other drastic approaches. I wasn't happy with the price or ingredients in most of the prescription formulas so, after reading hundreds of ingredient labels with much trial and error I decided to try this limited ingredient, duck and pea cat food. Both of my cats have been eating it for months now with no more tummy issues, their coats are shinier and softer than ever before. I have healthy cats, happily enjoying their senior years again.

Works for cats with urinary tract issues
This line of limited ingredient food works great for cats with urinary issues because it’s low in calcium and magnesium, which is what creates stones and issues!

Took my cat to the vet recently, Found out she has an allergy to a lot of regular cat foods like fish and certain poultry and red meats. Was recommended the science diet at first and that food is definitely not affordable, found this food as a cheaper alternative and decided to try it. So far it’s worked great and my cat loves it.

This food was recommended by our veterinarian and she is so very happy and perfect on it!! It’s great quality and her symptoms are completely under control from switching foods.
