First start feeding Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Small Breed Vegetarian Recipe, we suggest starting with the amounts recommended in the table. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature and activity of your dog. The amount of food should always be adjusted to maintain ideal body condition.
When switching your dog's diet, we recommend that it be done gradually over a 7-10 day period. Replace 25% of the current diet with the new diet, every 2 - 3 days until they are fully transitioned.

I have a 6 year old chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She has been on a high quality chicken kibble since 6 mos. old, but the older she has gotten, the more she licked her paws
I have a 6 year old chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She has been on a high quality chicken kibble since 6 mos. old, but the older she has gotten, the more she licked her paws ....sometimes aggressively. So, I decided to try this vegetarian high quality food. I switched her "cold turkey" & she loved the food the first time she ate it. She's doing so much better on her new kibble. Great for allergic dog
My dog is allergic to all fish and fish oils. This is the only kibble that has algae oil in it. My dog is doing fantastic on this. No more skin allergy issue

My dog would barely eat it and I noticed it has this musty almost rancid smell to it. Not sure if I got a bad bag or if they’re all like this but I ordered v-dog
