She loves this and I'm so glad its fish only, no other meat products are hidden (another immune issue we've recently experienced).
Good idea but includes an ingredient that can cause cancer
It contains Natural Smoke Flavor. I should have read the label more carefully before ordering which is my fault but got excited over the main ingredients, which
It contains Natural Smoke Flavor. I should have read the label more carefully before ordering which is my fault but got excited over the main ingredients, which do seem very good, and did not read the rest. Natural Smoke Flavor is not safe for dogs (or people) as it contains harmful carcinogens which can cause cancer. I threw the can I opened away as soon as I smelled it and realized it had a smoky smell and then saw this ingredient listed on the can. If you don’t mind this ingredient it seems like it would be a great food if your dog likes it based on the other ingredients but do read up on Natural Smoke Flavor for dogs before you decide. I was definitely eager to try this with our dogs but unfortunately the concern with above it is a show stopper.
Not for picky eaters
Works well for tummy needs. My boy needed to be hand fed this food, otherwise it sat out. Too pricey, a lot of hand fed meals.

I wanted her to like it.
She refuses to eat it no matter what I mix in and since she's on a limited diet, I can only mix in in so much. It also gives her diarrhea.

I don't like that it is more watery than what we used to give her. She does seem very hungry afterwards, so we have been supplementing with some dry kibble mixed

The Malinois X eats everything and will scout out left overs in the next door bowl when she leaves her house (they are fed in their houses/stalls).The Greenland girl can be fussy, especially in hot weather, but her bowl was clean down to the shine. The owner (me) checks the stool consistency: Normal, well formed.

The dog is elderly and loves fish so I make sure she has it. It sits well on her stomach and she never leaves any in her bowl.
