What is the difference between this unscented multi-cat litter (yellow bag) versus the other one (red bag)?

This litter features triple-action odor defense enzymes and long-lasting absorbency for superior odor control. The formula in the red bag specifically eliminates both urine and fecal odors with a malodor counteractant.

Is this okay for people with nut allergies to use?

Answer by rirvingJun 01, 2021
The most common nut allergies are caused by ingesting the proteins of the nuts, so we would not be concerned if this is the type of nut allergy you have as Naturally Fresh litter is not for human consumption. However, the more uncommon allergy is Anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is a serious, life-threatening allergic reaction typically to airborne particulate. Therefore, we would not recommend the use of this cat litter if there is a potential for an anaphylactic reaction.

Disclosure I had a bag that was really dusty, and I think the problem with that and mix dust reviews is sometimes you get the bottom of the barrel of the last of the product. This Did not discourage me because of the brand I’ve been using the red bag 8ish years. It worked really good but for my elderly cat(1 out of 5) who is very particular on her litter as well with an elderly cat it is really hard on them to use the restroom sometimes where P or they step in litter that didn’t absorb it. Well this solved my problem absolutely in love with it. Says what it does and it’s soft on their feet.

I used to use ekocat in the past, I’ve used wheat scoop, and this by far has been the winner. I have 6 cats, works amazingly well, I have 3 litter boxes, one of them is a PETKIT puramax. 3 of my cats are indoor outdoor , so this litter also mimics dirt so if they need to go outside, they go! The smell is neutral and natural, clumping works best in my opinion. I never bave a home smelling like cat. Even if I haven’t done the litter in 4 days.

I love that this litter is all natural with not harmful chemical additives. And I find with regular scooping it does have great odor control BUT it produces A LOT OF DUST. Scooping it a challenge because of the dust that stirs up so I can only imagine how unpleasant it is for my cat. And he already has allergy/ respiratory issues. It also seems to track pretty bad, but that could be partly my cats fault. I’m still using this product because it’s truly all-natural and truly works, but am considering either switching to Pepper and Paco litter or possibly blending the two to cut down on the dust.

Both my cats have there own litter boxes but the smell is still very strong, I love this brand but I’m switching it to the original again

We love the Naturally Fresh Walnut kitty litter. The blue bag previously called the yellow bag has a probiotic and an enzyme that surround the feces in urine. makes it so easy to clean the box. you don't have to wash down the box or change litter but every month. and knowing that I'm not breathing in chemicals on the clay litter or having the cats them myself or having the cats breathe and lick the chemicals that are in all the clay litters.

Love the natural litter that is made from a by product, no dust is a major plus as well. I feel this litter does a pretty decent job with odor control unless the cat has a taco bell type bathroom night. The cat uses it with no problem at all, as does my foster cat. Neither had any issues using it, so I know it likely doesn't hurt their paws. The reason I gave it lower stars is because it tracks everywhere and the urine clumps break and are hard to clean out of the box. I find litter all over my house from the cat paws and sometimes it's like tiny clumps of urine litter. Not just the little walnut shell pieces but used litter that has stuck to the cat paw and they tracked across the floor and carpet. So, that's gross. Otherwise, it's a good litter.

All in all, this is a pretty decent cat litter. It clumps pretty well and it smells just fine. It has a neutral wood type smell. My only disappointment is that the product is prone to being super dusty. It doesn’t track too badly, however. As such, if you have carpet nearby, I don’t know if this cat litter will be ideal for you. But otherwise it performs well and the cat seems to like it.
