Can you use this in a Litter Robot 4?

The best litter for Litter-Robot is clumping litter. We recommend a high-quality, standard-weight, clay-based clumping litter. Some silica gel litter beads and crystals can also be used with Litter-Robot, as long as they pass through the screen. However, translucent or white-colored litter (most often seen in crystal litter) may impact the litter level and Drawer Full Indicator (DFI) accuracy in Litter-Robot 4 and is therefore not recommended. Alternatively, plant-based litters typically do not work with Litter-Robot as these may not be filtered properly through the sifting system. Litters that do not work in Litter-Robot are the strictly absorbent, non-clumping or loose-clumping litters, newspaper-based litters, and absorbent wood pellet litter.

Ehhh

I like that this is definitely better on the paws than clay. Also way lighter! Don't love that it tracks all over after he jumps out of the box. Clumping and smell

Nice smell

This litter smells nice without being overpowering. It clumps nicely. And it is a natural biodegradable product.

Love this cat litter

This cat litter is my favorite. There is no nasty smell from the litter box and I have 2 giant litter boxes in my living room.

I have been using another corn-based litter and did not notice that this one had a pine scent when I purchased it. I was worried that the cats would not use the box. I have only been using a few scoops mixed with the usual litter and thankfully the cats are still using it. I will not repurchase it. I just thought I would try it and will go back to my usual brand.

I quite like the wood chip smell when it is fresh, but once it has been used once it does not handle the odour well. There is less dust when initially pouring it in, but it tracks and scatters much further than clay because it is so lightweight.

Smells good and clumps well

I switched to this cat litter from clay litter. My cats like it - there's less dust, it clumps well, and it smells nice.

Bought this for my long haired cat who constantly had clay litter stuck to her behind and paws, and cleaning her was always a nightmare. After switching to this litter to calm my nerves about her ingesting clay more than average, this litter barely sticks to her! It's very lightweight, and does tend to get outside the box. Has a light Pine scent that wasn't advertised on the packaging, but it's not too overpowering for me or the kitty. Covers smell great and clumps better than the clay litter I used prior. Overall, the pros outweigh the few cons - I will be continuing to purchase!
