This product is formulated for cats and dogs.

Will this product help with a worm issue for cats? If so, what types of worms, how long does it take to work and are you sure it works for removing parasites? How and why does it work for that purpose?

This treatment can help with roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, and whipworm. It helps prevent both malnutrition and intestinal parasites by targeting the parasites' early life cycles, stopping them before they have a chance to mature and reproduce. It includes Thyme leaf which targets bacteria, viruses, and other pests.

should I feed this year round to a feral cat to combat worms?

This supplement is safe to give daily. It is formulated to paralyze worms and prevent them from holding on to the intestinal walls, helping to excrete them during a bowel movement.

Is this safe foe a nursing queen (cat) and her 3 week old kitten

A natural supplement that my pets like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 6 cats/2 dogs, all of whom are finicky eaters and I didn't know if if I would be able to get them to try this supplement by adding it to their food. It took a few tries to find the right food--at first, I pureed a little tuna and added it to their food to disguise the taste of the Intesti Care but it turned out that wasn't necessary. I'm actually pretty shocked that they seem to like it. Even my 13 lb Shiba, who is the pickiest eater on the planet will eat foot with the added Intesti Care. I like to give my pets natural and healthy food and supplements and this product has human grade diatomaceous earth which is supposed to be good to repel parasites, along with pumpkin seed, ginger, thyme and slippery elm. It's odorless and dissolves in water so there's no grit or texture. The dosage is one scoop for pets up to 24 lbs but I've been giving them all 1/2 scoop to start. We've been using it a couple of weeks, not every day but maybe 3-4 times a week. I have a couple of 2 year old cats from the same litter who had a bad start in life and were pretty puny as kittens. They've had digestive issues on and off so I thought this might be a good product to try. It's probably a little too soon to tell if it's helping them but I haven't had to clean up hairballs or diarrhea (the two most common problems we've had). The ingredients are healthy and I think we'll see benefits over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately it didn't really help (so far). One of our cats consistently has soft and extremely smelly poo, and has all his life. The vets have never found a problem that is causing it, it just seems to be the norm for him. Fiber additives, pumpkin, etc are really the only suggestions they have had for him. Those occasionally work for a few days, but no real success. We have used the Intesti Care about 2 1/2 weeks now, and are going to continue using a little longer to see if anything changes. One good thing, he does seem to enjoy the taste, which was a concern since it's a pretty good size scoop that has to be mixed into his canned food. A couple of the other cats have also sampled it out of his bowl when he left a couple of bites, and they too seemed to like it, so that's a plus! I feel like it's probably a good product, just not helping our boy's stubborn digestive system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powder I’ve been using with my 2 small dogs for a couple days and I actually have notified an improvement on their bowel movements. They do seem to be consistently healthy when previously both of my dogs sometimes struggle with loose stools. I haven’t been using it long enough to see a major difference, but my dogs still eat their food normally with the powder sprinkled in. My only complaint is I wish it came with a scoop. It’s a pain to get out my own spoon everyday and dirty it for this. Other than that, I am happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this product with my German shorthair pointer. The GSP tends to have some soft poops and gas. She did not like all of the powder on one feeding, so I split the dosage over two feedings. It has been about one week, and so far her poops have improved and she has had less gas. She did not like the product dry on her food. So, I sprinkled it on the food and then add a little warm water over the top. She then gobbles it up.The Dosing spoon was difficult to find at first. It would be nice if it was on the top when you open the canister up and maybe use a different color instead of CLEAR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we use dry dog food over here but we still wanted to give this product a shot. We mixed it with peanut butter and the dogs loved it. Their systems handled it well with no changes to their disposition or stools. This product was a great way to enhance their digestive health!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to try this product because of my dog’s occasional intestinal issues. After using it for a couple of weeks I noticed a definite improvement with my dog’s bowel movements. I just sprinkled it on top of his food and he ate it without any issue. I would say the only drawback is the amount of stinky flatulence that would follow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too bad of a powder. Tried it with both my cats and dogs. My songs get dry food so the powder they eat around and don't eat it at all. My cats get the occasional wet food so I mixed it into their wet food mixes well tints the food a little darker color. One of my cats is very picky she refused to eat it my male cat has some belly problems on occasion and eats it without a fuss. Noticed he isn't barfing as much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs ate it easily enough - I normally add supplements to their food so this wasn't a large adjustment. I can attest that they didn't upset my pups' stomachs but as for the deworming aspect, they don't have worms that I know of, so I can't really say much about that part! It's...a big serving though I must say. That surprised me. My pups get 2 and 3 scoops each based on their weight. Chewing through 5 scoops a day is a bit much for me personally. But I could really see the value in having this on hand for any digestive upset or wormy-like issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am using this product for an older cat who has had diarrhea that has an extremely strong odor. This has been going on for few months. First thing I noticed about this product is that after adding it to his wet food, he still eats it. Other products I've tried must add an unpleasant taste because he wouldn't eat his food. Obviously those products didn't help. So....this one actually gets to his tummy where he needs it! The consistency of his poop has improved; it is more formed. And, thankfully, it is definitely less smelly. In summary, I will continue adding this to his food once a day and hope it continues to help.
