The material it's made of IS much sturdier than I expected, it's decent quality rubber, and doesn't have any outer parts that overtly encourage ripping like some rubber toys. Unfortunately after 5 minutes, the squeaker broke in two, the tube part popped right out of the ball, and I had to barter for it with my 1-year-old Doberman mix. Can't recommend this for dogs with any type of jaw strength.

These balls seemed pretty durable and our dogs loved them in the past. Now the last one we ordered our dog seriously ripped a huge chunk out of it within minutes
These balls seemed pretty durable and our dogs loved them in the past. Now the last one we ordered our dog seriously ripped a huge chunk out of it within minutes. We never let them lay and just chew it, we always play fetch, so not sure why is ripped so easy. Will be hesitant to buy again.

I gotta say I’m a little jealous of how much my dog loves this ball. After about 6 months of heavy, daily use we replaced it with the green version.
