The manufacturer recommends hand washing with warm water and soap between uses.

What age puppy is this for? All the reviews say it's easy but my super young pup had some trouble and lost interest. Is he too young for it?

This toy can be used by dogs of all ages however interest level will vary by pet. If your puppy is unable to focus, try again at a later date. You can also vary the level of difficulty by placing the bones flat or tilting them up at an angle over the hidden compartments. No toy is indestructible. Do not leave toys with unsupervised pets. Remove and replace toy if damaged.

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff.

Sometimes my dogs get bored being inside on cold or rainy days and we use use this food puzzle a lot we put all sorts of treats in it and the dogs learned very quickly how to pull the bones pieces off the puzzle and get their treats. One of my dogs enjoys solving the puzzle even once the treats are all gone. It’s good for keeping him busy and mentally stimulating for them

This toy is great! We use it with our puppy when shes getting overly rambunctious and we need her to settle. As soon as I pull out the box she knows what is coming and she sits so patiently waiting for the fun to begin! We put treats in 4 slots and she sniffs around and finds them and then opens all of the others, just in case! After she is calmer, I think because she has used her puppy brain and has been distracted she looses the urge to try to munch on everything in site. (She is a well behaved puppy, but she is still very young so she chews on everything) If you have a high energy dog I would highly recommend this toy.

Good for a puppy who is patient

Sasha was not impressed with this toy. She will be donating to a puppy who has more patience to look for the treat.
