To clean Nina Ottosson puzzle toys, it's best to hand wash them with warm water and mild soap.

Is this a good choice for a 75lb Goldendoodle or is it likely to be too small?

My 30lb 8mo-old Mix tore off the red lids. He's a puppy, still aggressive.

Up to what size kibble or treat will this toy accommodate?

This toy is able to accommodate most kibble. Even larger sized kibble should fit under the bone and the slide block as those compartments have deeper insets, plus the bone is hollow.

Our puppy inhales his kibble, this is perfect for slowing him down and it’s not one of those toys that once the dog figures it out they can dump all the kibble at once (like a kong). It definitely takes some getting used to. We let our puppy perfect a kong first then gave this to him. He was a little frustrated at first but now he loves it. I would not let the puppy keep it after the kibble is gone, otherwise he will chew it and wreck it.

Seems unsafe

Had to take it away after my 6lb dog had it for less than 5 minutes. The outer plastic/rubber shell peels back super easy and there’s a thin plastic film inside

The outer plastic/rubber shell peels back super easy and there’s a thin plastic film inside that is easily accessible for dogs to bite/tear up. Even under close supervision the risk of ingesting plastic is too high. Bizarre design

I came here looking to see if anyone had tricks on cleaning it better because after about 3 years of almost daily use, it's gotten pretty gross despite wiping down the exterior regularly. My only complaint is that it doesn't come apart to wash, but if it did, it might not work as well. The bad reviews surprised me, but my dog is not a big chewer and I show her how to play with new toys so she doesn't get frustrated and just try to destroy it. She does pick it up with her teeth to haul it back to an open area when it gets stuck against something, but it's never pierced the clear barrier inside. I guess if your dog is prone to chewing through things instead of engaging with them and trying to figure them out, it's not a good choice, but I got this because my sister's toy poodle loved it for years and my medium poodle has also loved it for years now so I'm back to buy it again just because the inside is getting pretty icky. She'll finish the hardest puzzles out there in 2-3 minutes but I can throw a handful of treats in this and it will keep her busy for 20-30 minutes easily. Day in and day out for years now. She doesn't get tired of it like her other toys. So YMMV, but I think it's worth a try unless you know it's not going to be a good fit for your dog.

This toy is easy to chew on and for any dog to tear up. I give it 3 stars because it's still in use however you must be present and store it away immediately after pup finishes using it or it will be fully destroyed and only used once for you. If I had the chance I would choose another ball maze because that takes way longer for dog to eat. You must be cautious with it when storing food in there or pebbles will fall out.

Fun but not strong

My dog loves this! But after only two times of use the clear plastic area where the treats release is now showing extreme wear. Hoping it doesn’t break/gets dangerous?

So the toy itself was great. You can put Cheerios in it or dog treats or whatever and the dog goes wild and has a fun time. However, the plastic comes off in bits and pieces that are smaller than a dime. Our dog ingests these and then proceeds to vomit them back up if there are too many. The toy will not stand up to those dogs who are young, incorrigible and want to bite and chew everything.

It is also good since we have another dog who can't figure it out and then he gets the food and treats without the other one grabbing and eating it especially since our shihpoo is a grazer and comes and goes back to it throughout the day.

One of Higgins' favorites!

Since he pushes it all over the house, I had to get a second one to make sure I could find at least one of them right away for the next day's fun.

Great toy

Great tou, kept my dogs busy for around 30 minutes. They do try and crew up the plastic so I only let them play with it while supervised.

Fun until I forgot to put it away

My dog enjoyed this toy very much. Not too easy and not too difficult -- she is relatively smart when it comes to puzzle toys. My only issue is that I left her alone
