Can this be given with a cod fish oil?

Cosequin has no known reported side effects or contraindications, so we would not expect there to be any concerns with giving it with fish oil. However, before starting your pet on any new supplement, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to determine what is best for your pet based on their needs.

Is this a powder filled capsule I can empty into food?

The capsules can be pulled apart, and the contents sprinkled on the pet's food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount.

I choose come in a nicely packaged poly bag. They’re easy to crumble and add to my dog’s food. He seems to love the flavor. Highly recommended.

My dog is ten and a half and starting to look it when she gets up from the sofa and tries to walk around. When I see her start to get what we refer to as her achy old joints, I start sprinkling this into her wet food. Within a week or so she's much more limber. She never seem like she's in pain, only very stiff. I'm not sure if this would help if your pet was in pain.

I like that it's a powder and I can split the dosage into 2 days easily. Also my dog does not mind the taste of it and will happily eat it on her food.
