While these tablets are not scored, they may be broken in half and fed in a manner that works best for your pet.

Can I give this to my 15 lb cat, and if so, how much?

For cats over 12 pounds, 1 tablet should be given twice daily.

My girl takes denamarin, but it always came in a box, medium size canine dose. Why r they different in the bottle? Are they the same?

Check the ingredients and the amount of milligrams in each. Please make sure that the former medicine that came in a box is the exact ones. There is an "improved" chewable tablet. Depending on the instructions of the Vet, make sure that you are giving your pet the exact medication, as well as dosage.

My daughter’s little guy Ravioli was diagnosed with dry FIP at one year old. Liver enzymes being off the charts was one of his concerns. This in conjunction with vet prescribed antivirals, appetite stimulant, and sub-q fluids saved his life. At his 6 month post-diagnosis check up, everything was beautiful with liver enzymes still ever so slightly elevated. We’ve kept him on this medicine to help support his liver further and hope to be able to wean in another month or two. Grateful for this med and for chewy getting it to us promptly when we need it.

I’m a third time owner of a Sphynx cat. They have weak immune systems. When I stop giving my 3 year old this tablet her health declines. Only downside is the pill is the size of an Advil. I suggest the ones in foil instead of the jar. They are light sensitive and the foil helps keep them potent They are pricy but they work. They were highly recommended by my veterinarian

My vet recommended trying this liver supplement to see if it might improve Tilly's liver values. I gave this supplement to both pups as supplements for 6 weeks. Tilly just got her test results and her liver values continued to increase. It is possible that whatever medical condition that is causing the ALT values to go up cannot be improved with this supplement. My own concern with this supplement is that it causes both pups to have diarrhea. Recommend ordering a small quantity to see how your pups react to this supplement before buying larger quality. I originally bought 2 boxes and then more 2 bottles to have enough for Tilly's recent blood work. I have taken Lola off this supplements because her colon is so sensitive that she would get bloody stool along with diarrhea when on this supplement. I am waiting to hear from the vet if i should continue to keep Tilly on this supplement.

Relatively easy to give to our Cat, Mr. Foot. I hold, husband puts in mouth, holds shut, blows on his face. Release him to eat treats. Same nightly routine 30 nights. No spitting tablet out, no drooling (thanks to coated tablet), tablet swallowed every night. Only blood test, 60 more days will determine effectiveness of Denamarin.

This is supposed to be given on an empty stomach for full efficacy, but no matter how I try to hide the pill, she won't eat it. My dog is extremely food motivated--she will eat anything and will tolerate most medications, but for whatever reason hates Denamarin. I have wrapped it in chicken, bread, banana puree, she will only eat the food substance around it and spit the pill back out. I have also tried forcing the pill down her throat with no success and I feel bad for scaring her like that :( no matter what my dog will not touch this stuff. Maybe yours will be different but I cannot vouch for the efficacy of Denamarin due to my dog's compliance issues.

My 5yr old dog had leptospirosis which is a disease from drinking dirty water. There is a vaccine for sport dogs who retrieve wild foul. My dog is a rescue who was on the street drinking street water and eating garbage. Dog given strong antibiotics and this supplement. Dogs' liver numbers greatly improved and prevented liver damage. My Vet prescribed the Nutramax product. But the Internal Medicine Specialist we saw said the supplement may or may not help as research inconclusive. She suggested use 1 bottle, which I did.
