Growth & Reproduction:
Kittens up to 4 months old: Provide 2.5 X the adult amount for current weight.
Kittens 4 to 9 months old: Provide 2 X the adult amount for current weight.

For gestation provide 1.5 X the adult amount, and for lactation provide 1.25 - 2.5 X the adult amount (depending on litter size and week of lactation) and allow cat to eat at will.

I have had 4 cats, the first 2 (one is 16 years old now) had teeth issues from early on, and almost all their teeth fell out. I got 2 new kittens when one of the older cats passed away, and i wanted to start the kittens off well with oral care food. Brushing their teeth is not a option, and I cant use the water additive because my cat fountain has a filter that will get it out of water. So went for the food options for oral care -The only brands with oral care dry food is hills science and 1 or 2 other specialty but all very expensive brands, and then there is Nutrience, which is about half the price of those other oral brands. price is still higher then normal grocery store cat food, but if you look for a oral care product that is at a lower cost then the others, this is the only one. -When i tell my vet that i feed my cats this, they always are very skeptical because apparently some cats do not like this food. Its a nice cheap brand, but they say some cats simple dont like the taste. My kittens eat it like catnip when i refill the dispenser, and its avalible 24/7 and does empty quickly, so they definatly are eating it. My older 16 year old cat i cannot confirm if he eats it, he only has one tooth, a large front fang not used for chewing, so maybe he cannot eat it. I do mix in some of the old type of dry cat food he likes so he does not go hungry (they do have wet food too). -They do crunch away at the food, you can hear them, and they do make a bit of a mess, but the cat food dispenser mostly catches it all, so there is alot of pieces of the food in the dispenser bowl too. -the bag is nice with a Velcro reseal ability to keep it fresh. overall very happy with this dry cat food. I buy it in bulk from chewy and cats love it, but you might have to check if your cats like it.

The vet told us to buy Hill's Science Diet Dental for cats. The first ingredient is chicken by-product, not real chicken. This Nutrience Care Cat Oral Health Dry Cat Food has chicken as the first ingredient, is made in Canada, NOT the U.S. like Hill's and our cat loves this food! The kind the vet told us to buy was only a 4lb bag, this is more than 8lbs and it was a LOT cheaper than the Hill's Science Diet cat food! Chewy delivered it very quickly and at a very good price! We are very pleased with it and will continue to buy it to help keep tartar and plaque away from our cat's teeth.

My cats did not like it. They prefer different food. Crunch is quite good for their teeth, but leaves a mess. They also spit out the turmeric infused bits.
