My finicky senior cat loves the chicken and turkey pate. I mash it in his bowl with some added warm water because he is not a good water drinker and the portions are much nicer because he will eat most if not all of it where with even small cans he tends to leave a good amount of food. The food quality is much better than most others, trust me, we have gone through most pates over the years. The container is sometimes hard to open, as is the case with any foil/plastic container, but you really can’t have a can that small and I hate a plastic pouch, so it is what it is. Just have dry hands or use a fork to pry it open. I would recommend!

I swear to God, I'm not even kidding at this point. I have anxiety over it. In fact, he probably gained half a pound. It feels like I've entirely given up. He refuses to eat the healthy food I provide. I can leave it out all day, from 7:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night, and he won't touch it. I was literally in tears the other day, from his begging and crying, and he followed me around so much that I felt overwhelmed. Am I the only one? How are we being owned by little furry creatures? I can't even put him away in the room. I'm trying to eat or prep my dinner. But he gets out because we have latch door knobs. I even put the door stopper in front of it the other day and I don't know how he still pushed his way out, probably because he weighs 16 pounds. He's like Hercules with fur. So yeah, this was a big nope for him. Hope this helps. I call him my handsome fat man. Honestly, it's concerning because I don't want him to develop diabetes or other health problems and shorten his life.
