I had previously bought my York-Chon the Nylabone Antler because she is a destructive chewer and toys just don't last. It worked out well for a long time but it finally splintered so I ordered her one of these. It has worked out just as well. She loves playing and tossing it around and she still hasn't splintered it yet. Definitely recommend Nylabone for destructive chewers.
Careful if you multiple dogs
#1 -- DO NOT use with multiple dogs. They will fight over the toy and you'll end up with expensive veterinary bills stitching up one or more dogs. #2 -- aggressive

An aggressive chewer will have the area chewed off in a very short amount of time and they will swallow it. That's when your real trouble starts.
Very unique dog chew
My 2 year old, 10 pound Chorkie is an aggressive chewer. I usually do not like artificial bones or chews but she is now on hills prescription diet for allergies

I usually do not like artificial bones or chews but she is now on hills prescription diet for allergies and can only have their food and treats for 3 months. Nothing else to digest. So yak sticks are out of the question. She misses something to chew on. She is starting to chew on real sticks from outside. So I decided to try this. It looked so real. I did not want anything with little nubs for her to bite off and swallow. This looked perfect. But it was described as being so big. The picture made it look that way. I was afraid it was going to be tremendous for my tiny Gwyneth. It wasn't. It's just the right size for her. So be ware. It fits right in her mouth, she chews it fine and loves it. This is for small dogs. I don't care what size they say. It is 5" x 1". I hope it holds up. It is quite expensive.

Not the Puppy's Favorite
Our puppy (4 month old GSP) doesn't really like the "fake" bones. We gave him a deer antler & he loves it.
