The bacon-flavor Healthy Edibles bone chews are completely edible and as digestible as super-premium dog treats.

If ingested will the ingredients harm the stomach? Have you any reports of this chew bone causing diarrhea, especially in older dogs? Does it or does it not cause staining on carpeting and furniture? I am looking for a chew bone that is rock hard but yet enjoyable. Thank you.

These bacon-flavored treats are made of natural ingredients and are highly digestible. However, please read the full ingredients list before buying if your pet has a sensitive stomach or any allergies. This treat has a natural oil and may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. These bones are long-lasting but it ultimately depends on how often your dog chews on it. Please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew for your pet's safety.

Does Saliva affect the longevity of this chew? I have a rather slobbery dog.

Dog saliva does not contain digestive enzymes, so it will not affect the longevity of this chew.

How many calories are are in the Nylabone healthy bones (healthy edibles medium size).

The small has 149 calories, the medium has 281 calories, the large has 395 calories, and the x-large has 600 calories.

My puppy loves these bones, and only the bacon flavor. We bought roast beef & she passed on those; so bacon it is! We like that it doesn’t smell, and it doesn’t get “gross” to touch, really. These are the medium size bones, and our puppy is 12 weeks. They are not recommended for puppies that size, but of course we monitor her chew sessions - an we throw them out when they get too small AKA a choking hazard. But they keep her busy and happy!

They’re fine, but I have noticed my Akita is very very picky And my little dog I have to pay soft shoes for, but he’s not having that cause he thinks he’s the big dog and so he’s lost a lot oftea his puppy teeth, but these have helped because he is teething. He’ll just drag it around with him.
