The bacon-flavor Healthy Edibles bone chews are completely edible and as digestible as super-premium dog treats.

If ingested will the ingredients harm the stomach? Have you any reports of this chew bone causing diarrhea, especially in older dogs? Does it or does it not cause staining on carpeting and furniture? I am looking for a chew bone that is rock hard but yet enjoyable. Thank you.

These bacon-flavored treats are made of natural ingredients and are highly digestible. However, please read the full ingredients list before buying if your pet has a sensitive stomach or any allergies. This treat has a natural oil and may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. These bones are long-lasting but it ultimately depends on how often your dog chews on it. Please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew for your pet's safety.

Does Saliva affect the longevity of this chew? I have a rather slobbery dog.

Dog saliva does not contain digestive enzymes, so it will not affect the longevity of this chew.
