This bowl slowed down my super eager 2 year old Golden Retriever so much! He was eating his entire meal in about 30 seconds, then bothering my other dog while she ate. This bowl entertains him for a good 30 minutes so the other can get done eating and have some quiet time before he's done.
Doggie didn't like it
The first row is too deep, he couldn't get his food out and gave up. We want him to eat slower not give up on eating. It may be better for a larger dog.

Quality
I’m so glad this works for my dog. He would eat so fast and it just wasn’t good for his tummy.

This food bowl lives up to the hype. It really does slow down our dog's eating. It is a bit of a puzzle so he is getting some brain work. I bought a really large size for our big guy. It hold so much food. Up to 4 cups I think. It is dishwasher safe, but I just wash it in the sink. It is so easy. It is definitely 5 stars.
Easy to clean
This ball is wonderful for my day because even though she is drooling, and it’s a mix of kibble and freeze dried raw and wet food it is still easy to clean

Slows her down.
She eats much more slowly with this bowl, but she seems to have difficulty getting to the food in the last ring. And can’t seem to the “gravy” from the outer rings
She eats much more slowly with this bowl, but she seems to have difficulty getting to the food in the last ring. And can’t seem to the “gravy” from the outer rings either. She (Great Dane) has a large mouth and a big, long tongue. We use it every day.
Sturdy Bowl for Puzzle Play
Charley, our 12 yo JRT was curious and loved this bowl. He took his time to pick his food from it and seemed pleased that he solved the "puzzle".
