I initially got this toy because I had a shoulder injury and my pup is BIG on fetch, so we were struggling to find ways to play that she found fun and that didn't cause excess pain. It exceeded my expectations though! The squeak is a fun feature and helped engage another dog I watch sometimes into playing and even with minimal effort I'm able to throw the ball really far! The added bonus is the hands free ball pick-up. Saves me from the ick of picking up a well loved tennis ball thats covered in drool and the grass it's been rolling in, lol

The ball launch really tosses the ball a long ways- much further than I can throw it, resulting in more fun and more exercise for my dog.

Long throws, recommend using only tennis balls. (Found a couple of canine teeth in a baseball yesterday.) Beware however that the ball this comes with is slightly smaller than a tennis ball and costs a whole lot more to replace. Just place thrower face up just behind rear tire and back up over it. That will spread the hard plastic open enough to accommodate those abandoned tennis balls found by every public court.

Ease of throwing the ball
I had my shoulder replaced last year and it really helps me. I have a new rescue dog and she is very energetic and this tires her out so l get a break.
